What we collect
This site does not require account sign-in and does not use tracking analytics by default. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you include in your message.
Information used by our Meta Quest/Oculus games
Some of our games may use Meta Quest platform features, formerly known as Oculus platform features. When those features are enabled, the platform may make the following information available to the game:
- Meta/Oculus user ID
- Meta/Oculus username, which may be displayed to friends in experimental multiplayer features
- Meta/Oculus profile picture, which the game may be able to access but does not currently use
- Your friends list, accessed only when using relevant experimental multiplayer features
How we use platform information
We use this information only to provide platform features while you are playing, such as accessing your in-game avatar or showing friends in supported multiplayer features.
How we store and share platform information
The current implementation of these platform features keeps this information on your headset. Guilty Dog does not send this platform information to its own servers, store it separately, or share it with third parties.
Optional multiplayer diagnostics
In multiplayer games, if you choose to opt in, we may collect pseudonymised technical information about your connection and session. This may include a user-selected network quality rating, an encrypted user ID, average ping, jitter, and packet loss.
The first time you enter a multiplayer game, the optional collection is explained in an in-game panel. You can decline or withdraw consent simply by closing that panel by pressing the menu button on the left controller.
We use this information to understand and improve multiplayer quality and reliability. It is deleted periodically and is not used for advertising or sold to third parties.
How we use your data
We use contact and support information to respond to your request, investigate issues, and improve our products.
Data retention
We keep relevant support and business communications only as long as needed for operations and legal obligations.
Your rights
UK users can request access, correction, or deletion of personal data where applicable. Contact us at contact@guiltydog.co.uk.
Because the platform information described above is not stored by Guilty Dog, there is normally no copy for us to delete. Platform account and headset data can be managed through the relevant Meta Quest/Oculus account and device settings.
